Description
 
The LPC-08A capsule slip ring is a standard, off-the-shelf unit that uses gold contacts at the rotary interface. Color-coded lead wires are used on both the stator and rotor for simplifying electrical connection. It provides smoother running, lower torque and lower electrical noise than competitive slip rings. 
 
The slip ring is made of brushes, conductive rings, insulation materials, binding materials, a supporting frame, precision bearings and housing etc. The brushes which are made of precious metal are in two-point contact to the ring.The LPC-08A used in any electromechanical system that requires unrestrained, continuous rotation while transmitting power and /or data from a stationary to a rotating structure.
