1. Product profile
Galvanized steel strip coil is also called hot-dip zinc or hot-dipped galvanizing. It is an effective
way of metal anti-corrosion, mainly used in the industries of metal structure facilities. De-rusted
steel is dipped in to 500 °C zinc liquid and coated with zinc which provides corrosion protection.
2. Production process
pickling-washing-adding zinc liquid-stoving-galvanized-cooling-passivation-flattening-finishing.
Galvanizing has a history of 140 years since it is used in industry by Frenchman in 1836. The
large-scale development of galvanizing is in the last 30 years with the development of
cold-strip steel.
