| Pluggable (SFP) packaging. It integrates a bi-directional optical transceiver function and an EPON MAC function inside. This allows an operator to insert the SFP ONT into any SFP host and operate a single demarcation device on the customer premise equipment. And, the EOLS-GEN-XX-X fits seamlessly into existing communications equipment, providing service providers with a smooth upgrade to GEPON. The EOLS-GEN-XX-D series includes digital diagnostic monitoring function fully compliant with SFF-8472 and it’s internally calibrated. |
