Ⅱ. Solubility:
DY2044 resin easily dissolve in many organic solvent, such as ketones, esters and long-chain aliphatic alcohol etc.
Ⅲ. Properties:
DY2044 is the thermoplastic solid acrylic resin which possesses good weatherability, exceptional hardness and flexibility. It also has excellent compatibility with other film-forming resins such as cellulose resins, epoxy resin, vinyl resins and acrylic resins etc.
Due to the excellent compatibility with PVDF resin, DY2044 can enhance the phase’s stability and pigment diversion in PVDF coatings. DY2044 is principally applied in baking-type fluorocarbon coatings (PVDF coatings) because of its good adhesion on the untreated metal substrate (especially after baking at high temperature).
The metal decoration board (based on aluminum and aluminum-plastic) coated with PVDF coatings has the following characteristics:
Super weather resistant, outdoor use life is up to 15 years
Excellent corrosion resistance and chemical resistance, good anti-penetration performance
Excellent physical and mechanical performance, good post processing property
Good anti-pollution performance
Good temperature resistance, the coating can be used between -60ºC-130ºC for a long period of time.
PVDF coating is a kind of fluorocarbon coating which possesses high weather resistance. It is made from PVDF resin (content of polyvinylidene fluoride resin is over 70% of total resins), acrylic resin, pigment which has excellent weatherability, filler, auxiliary solvent etc. through baking at high temperature.

The shelf-time is usually 3 years, DY2044 still can be used beyond shelf time if the retest is ok
