Description

This machine is used to determine the asphalt thin film mass loss after heating, as required, can test the asphalt residue property change like needle penetration, softening point, brittle point, and ductility, to evaluate the asphalt aging performance.

Main technical features

a. The cover is made of thin steel plate, the upper is the stainless steel working chamber, there is glass window installed on the center. There is floodlight inside, which is easy for temperature observation from outside.

b. The heating device is installed at the bottom of working chamber, use airflow free convection method to heat air. Heat the working chamber by air channel around the chamber.

c. There is four rotary plates filled with asphalt specimens in the center, it’s driven by motor, rotate by 5.5 rpm.

d. Adopt intelligent temperature control instrument to guarantee the temperature keep at 163℃±0.5℃.
