17-4PH UNS S17400 seamless pipe
Properties of 17-4PH/UNS S17400 :

• Precipitating, hardening and martens tic stainless steel consisting of Cu, Nb and Cb
• High improved strength, but weaker corrosion resistance compared with austenitic stainless steel; good resistance to air, aqueous media and heavily diluted acids, alkaline or salt solutions, corrosion resistance ability similar as 304 and 430
• Easy to adjust strength degree by heat treatment
• Not suitable in temperature higher than 300ºC (572ºF) or very low degree

Applications of 17-4PH/UNS S17400 :

• Offshore platform, helicopter deck and other platforms
• Food industry, paper pulp industry and aerospace(turbine blades)
• Machine components, nuclear waste drum and nuclear reactors
