Powerful functions- already integrated in base unit

• Up to 510/2048 inputs/outputs: Modular structure with up to 32 sockets fordigital, analogue, counting. measuring and/or motion control modulesup to 510 central inputs/outputsup to 2048 local inputs/outputs(e.g PROFIBUS DP)
• Upto 1 Mbyte user memory: For programs, text and data blocks. 1 Mbyte flashmemory as option for ease of down/uploading program modifications and backups.
• Up to 6 serial data ports: Can be fitted with a choice of RS232, S422, RS485or TTY/current loop 20MA.
• Field bus connections: Can be fitted with a choice of PROFIBUS EMS PROFIBUSDP as master or slave and ethernet-tcp/IP
• Standard inputs: Fast counters and interrupt inputs directly on CPU of con-roller

The PCD4 series is an extremely flexible system. From the minimum system withthe simplest processor, one serial interface, a low-cost power supply moduleand 2 1/0 modules, through to the fully equipped system with up to 32 1/0 andfunction modules, processor module.M170, up to 6 independent serial interfacesor sala-bus PROFIBUS FM/P or ethernet-tcp/IP network connections. Thesystem can be assembled in one go, or expanded in stages.All modules are in the form of equal sized cassettes. Cassette modules are pluggedinto the appropriate bus modules. The bus modules are in turn snapped ontomounting rails and connected together to form the system bus Connections tothe external process are wired to the bus modules, which means that cassettemodules can be inserted or removed without affecting the wirin
