Product Details
The AB 2711P-RDT12C is a PanelView Plus display module. It is also a replacement component for field installation in a PanelView Plus graphics terminal. It is an HMI (Human Machine Interface) that lets user control, monitor, or display information graphically. Its 12.1-inch flat-panel color display with a minimum resolution of 800 x 600 and 18-bit graphics. It supports operator input via a touchscreen. The 2711P-RDT12C terminal runs the Windows CE 4.1 operating system. It ships as a closed system which launches a FactoryTalk View Machine Edition application on startup and it can be configured as an open system for desktop access. For communication, an ethernet port and an RS-232 or USB port is provided.
The 2711P-RDT12C terminal has many improvements over other PanelView Plus 400 terminals like increased processor speed and illumination. It can be connected to devices such as keyboards and it also supports ActiveX controls and remote connectivity. It can be panel mounted in NEMA, UL, or IP rated enclosures. The 2711P-RDT12C provides standard Windows features like Explorer shell and network user interface. It has a built-in PDF viewer for reading content documents and a mechanism for creating backups. With the login feature, it facilitates data storage and modification.
