The 1771-WI PLC 5 Thermocouple Wiring Arm by AB is a hardware component shipped with the high-resolution thermocouple/millivolt I/O modules and is installed on the bottom of the 1771 I/O chassis. The 1771-WI PLC provides easy and convenient linkage between chassis wiring and the High-Resolution Thermocouple I/O modules. It has a maximum I/O connection capacity of 8 I/O modules and it has 18 terminals which provide connection points for input or outputs for the modules connected to it. The 1771-WI uses a 14-gauge stranded wire size with 3/64 inches thick insulation as base conductors and it has a gold conformal coating. The wiring arm is not fused and is used in high-resolution thermocouple/mV applications. It has a maximum field arm screw torque of 7 by 9 pounds-inches and it weighs approximately 0.1kg (0.3lb).
