• IC200CHS022 is a compact box-style I/O Carrier manufactured by GE Fanuc for the GE Versamax series. The module has 36 IEC box-style terminals. It supports backplane communications, mounting, and field wiring for one Input/Output module and can provide wiring for up to 32 I/O points and four common power connections.
• Other features of IC200CHS022 include easy-keying dials that assist in installation; keys that are set to match the keying at the base of the module; male-female connectors that facilitate quick installation of the backplane connection eliminating the need for additional tools/cables; a module latch hole that fastens the module securely to the carrier; and a foldable printed wiring card that can be inserted in the inbuilt card holder.
• The IC200CHS022 easily snaps onto a 7.5 mm x 35 mm DIN rail. To provide EMC protection, the DIN rail must be electrically grounded. The rail must have a conductive corrosion-resistant finish, preferably a plain finish with no paint. For those applications requiring maximum resistance to mechanical vibration and shock, the carrier must also be panel-mounted.
• The IC200CHS022 is equipped with a card holder that pivots the terminal wiring. The wiring card provided with the I/O module can be inserted in the holder. During system operation, the cardholder should be pulled back.
