Our basket vent plug has a unique design with an internal top cover that induces a wall-hitting reaction, automatically producing distilled water that flows back into the battery. Against a conventional plug, this design cuts water loss to roughly 40% - a standard 1 kg loss drops to about 400 g. The same effect slows plate polarisation over time and stretches battery service life. The concept was first engineered for EnerSys in the USA and is covered by our own patent.
