The falling film evaporator, also known as a spray evaporator, is similar to a full-liquid evaporator, but it is

different from a full-liquid evaporator.

The refrigerant from the evaporator is sprayed from the upper part of the heat exchanger to the heat

transfer tube, and the refrigerant forms a thin layer of the refrigerant film on the heat transfer tube so that

the refrigerant is reduced at the time of boiling evaporation The static level pressure, thereby improving

the heat transfer efficiency, the heat transfer efficiency than the full liquid unit increased by 5 or so.

Falling film evaporation is flow boiling, because the outer surface of the liquid film layer thickness is small,

no hydrostatic pressure generated by the high heat transfer coefficient.

And the full-liquid evaporation (that is, immersion evaporation) generated bubbles easily gathered in the

surface of the heat transfer tube, resulting in decreased heat transfer efficiency, the heat transfer effect

as falling film evaporation. In general, falling film evaporation is a small temperature difference, but to

prevent scaling, affecting heat transfer efficiency.
