(1) Refrigerant has multiple processes. If it is not properly handled at the corner of the end cover, liquid will accumulate, which will cause uneven distribution of liquid into the next process and affect the heat transfer effect.

 

(2) There is a leakage problem at the water side. Generally, there is a gap of 1 ~ 3mm between the outer edge of the baffle plate and the shell, and a gap of about 2mm between the baffle plate and the heat transfer pipe, which will cause water leakage.It has been proved in practice that water leakage can reduce the heat transfer coefficient of water side by 20% ~ 30% and the total heat transfer coefficient by 5% ~ 15%.
