COFDM technology offers robust digital video/data transmission in the most demanding scenarios of severe multi-path or no line-of-sight. Through innovative design techniques, we have eliminated the handicap that plagued this technology – high power consumption. The result is a higher RF output transmitter with less than half the DC power consumption of the competition. Avalon Rf has tested the wireless link to be robust up to 500meters at 300-860MHz with normal 1000mw power output in airborne applications. This winning combination is available in the frequency range of 450 Mhz to 860MHz.
