calibration

• 1. Activate the ORP meter in a boiled water for several hours.
• 2. Insert the ORP meter into a 256 mV standard solution (4.01 standard solution containing quinone hydroquinone reagent) and shake gently.
• 3. Adjust the calibration potentiometer with a small screwdriver until the LCD shows 265 mV.
• 4. Clean the electrode with distilled water.

Note: The instrument electrode must be periodically (15 days) into the saturated potassium chloride solution soak for several hours to ensure the accuracy of the measurement.
