Generally speaking, tie rod system is used to connect and anchor formworks in construction. Usually, 3 diameters of tie rod available: Ø15.0mm, Ø20.0mm, Ø26.5mm. Other diameters are available on special request.
Extensive accessories of wing nuts, hexagonal nuts, water stops, etc.
The cold rolled tie rod material is weldable and bendable, shearing loads and bending stress are possible.
Because of these mentioned reasons, cold rolled tie rod is used preferred in prefab elements and formwork.
