12 Fiber MTP Trunk Cable with 1310/1550nm Wavelength and ≤ 0.25dB Insertion Loss for Data Center
MTP/MPO cables feature multi-core connectors that deliver consistent, reliable performance in high-density, low-loss cabling environments, making them essential for 40G/100G data transmission in large data centers. TIA standards define three polarized MTP cable types: A, B, and C, each with distinct applications. This product focuses on Type-B polarity MTP cables.
The Type-B polarity MTP cable uses key-up connectors on both ends. Commonly called 40G MTP cables, these assemblies connect directly between 40G QSFP+ optic transceivers. The "flipped" polarity creates a Pin 1 to Pin 12 relationship, ideal for parallel optics configurations where Tx and Rx don't alternate in a duplex pattern.
