Product Overview
This MPO to LC Fiber Breakout Cable is a pre-terminated cabling assembly that transitions from multi-fiber cables and array connectors to traditional single-fiber LC connectors. These cassettes are typically fitted with 12-fiber or 24-fiber MTP/MPO adapters, featuring LC adapters on the front and MTP/MPO at the rear.
Connection Methods
Method A MTP/MPO cassette creates a "key up to key down" connection between the internal MTP connector and the MTP array cable connector. Method B MTP/MPO cassette establishes a "key up to key up" connection.
Base-8 Polarity Solution
Base-8 infrastructure requires Type B components to maintain proper polarity. Base-8 MTP/MPO is SR4 and PLR4 ready, with backbone connectivity matching the fiber count of SR4 and PLR4 transceivers.
Base-12 Polarity Solution
Each 12-fiber MTP/MPO translates into six 2-fiber serial optical circuits, managed through various polarity methods.
