MPO MTP Cable Overview
New Light 40G parallel networks are established using MPO trunk cables and MPO patch cables connected via MPO adapter modules. Direct connections between 40G or 100G ports are achieved using the same MPO patch cables. These products are part of our M400 Series.
Typically employing MPO 12-fiber connectors and 12-fiber cables, these solutions utilize only 8 fibers for SR4 40G or 100G Ethernet transmission. The 12-fiber configuration offers enhanced flexibility for duplex 10G networking applications with minimal cost difference.
