12 Core MPO Fiber Optic Trunk Cable OS2 OM3 Female Polarity B Plenum
New Light Optics Technology Limited MTP® trunk cable provides a cost-effective alternative to time-consuming field termination, designed for high-density fiber patching in data centers where space saving and reduced cable management are essential. Featuring US Conec MTP® connectors and Corning ClearCurve® fiber, this cable is optimized for 40G QSFP+ SR4/CSR4, 100G QSFP28 SR4 optics direct connection and high-density data center applications.
Note: US Conec MTP® connectors are fully compliant with MPO standards, achieving higher performance levels compared to generic MPO connectors.
Compatibility Information
While 40G transceivers require only 8 fibers to operate, most manufacturers use 12-fiber MTP connectors as they work across all applications. A 12-fiber MTP cable with correct polarity functions identically to an 8-fiber cable in 40G transceiver applications, with 4 fibers remaining unused.
