Planar waveguide light optical distributor (PLC Splitter) is a planar waveguide integrated optical device that preserves optical power across a wide wavelength range of 1260nm to 1650nm. This wavelength coverage includes the 1310nm, 1490nm, and 1550nm wavelengths used in EPON technology, making it particularly suitable for EPON Ethernet passive optical network access technology and FTTP fiber network systems in broadband passive optical distributor (POS) applications.
