MPO MTP Cable Overview
These fiber patch cords are simplex multi-fiber cables using MPO/MTP connectors in fiber counts of 4, 8, 12, 24, or 48. They feature Male and Female MPO/MTP connectors on each end and are available in multi-mode (62.5/125, 10G OM2/OM3/OM4, Bend-insensitive fiber) and single-mode (G652D, G657A1) fiber types.
New Light MTP-MTP Patch cords offer a cost-effective alternative to field termination, designed for high-density fiber patching in data centers where space saving and reduced cable management are critical. MTP connectors are fully compliant with MPO standards while achieving higher performance levels compared to generic MPO connectors.
