Product Description
MTP to MTP patch cables are primarily used for two applications: direct connection between two QSFP+ (or QSFP28) transceivers or connecting MTP trunk cables to QSFP+ (QSFP28) transceivers. These cables feature polarity B with female (no pin) connectors on each end, enabling direct SR4 transmission between QSFP-type transceivers.
Utilizing low-loss MT ELITE ferrules and Corning Clearcurve glass, these MTP patch cables guarantee optimal performance and compatibility. Part of the M400 Series, they support both 40GBASE-SR4 and 100GBASE-SR4 networks.
MPO MTP Cable Applications
- Multimode (OM3/OM4 50/125) applications: Direct connection between QSFP+ transceivers (40GBase-SR4), QSFP28 transceivers (100GBase-SR4), or MPO trunk cables
- Singlemode (OS1/OS2 9/125) applications: Direct connection between QSFP+ PLR4/LR4 PSM transceivers (40G Ethernet), QSFP28 PLR4/LR4 PSM transceivers (100G Ethernet), or MPO trunk cables
