Product Description
The MTP connector features benefits not available on generic MPO connectors, including a removable housing that allows re-working and re-polishing of the MT ferrule, gender change after assembly or in the field, and interferometric scanning after assembly. The MTP connector includes a floating ferrule for improved mechanical performance, stainless steel elliptical guide pin tips, and a metal pin clamp with push spring centering features. Its spring design maximizes ribbon clearance for twelve fiber and multi-fiber ribbon applications to prevent fiber damage. Available with four strain relief boot variations to suit diverse applications.
