Low Reflection FC APC 1640nm Fiber Optic Terminator
Fiber Optical Terminators are designed to terminate unused connector ports in fiber optic systems and eliminate unwanted reflections that can cause bit errors. Available in SC, FC, LC, ST, and MU versions, these terminators are primarily used in DWDM and EDFA fiber system open ends. The high attenuation fiber inside effectively absorbs reflections within a 2cm distance to ensure high stable optical transmission.
