LC fiber patch cord connectors feature a push and latch structure with plastic housing and precise 1.25mm ceramic ferrule. As a popular small form factor fiber optic solution, LC connectors minimize space requirements and are ideal for high-density installations. Fiber optic patch cords, also known as fiber optic jumpers or patch cables, are essential components in fiber optic networks, available in single mode (9/125 fiber glass, yellow jacket) and multimode (50/125 or 62.5/125 fiber glass, orange jacket) configurations.
Angled Polish Connector Specifications
Angle-polished connectors must only mate with other angle-polished connectors to prevent high insertion loss. While generally having higher insertion loss than straight physical contact connectors, angled connectors maintain low back reflection even when disconnected. Identified by green strain relief boots or green connector bodies (designated with /APC suffix), these connectors achieve return loss values greater than -65 dB when mated and maintain -65 dB or greater when unmated.
