Simplex and duplex LC connectors compatible with 0.9mm, 2.0mm, and 3.0mm multimode fiber optic cables. These connectors are essential components for fiber jumper cables, enabling reliable cross connections in optical networks.
LC Connector Technology
The LC (Lucent Connector) was originally developed by Lucent Technologies to meet the demand for compact, low insertion loss connectors. Standardized under EIA/TIA-604-10, LC connectors feature a 1.25mm ferrule—half the size of SC connectors—and are rated for 500 mating cycles with typical insertion loss of 0.25 dB.

APC Connector Technology
APC (Angled Physical Contact) connectors minimize backreflection through an 8° angle polish applied to end faces. These connectors must only be mated with other APC connectors to prevent high insertion loss.
Important: APC connectors feature green strain relief boots or green connector bodies for identification and typically achieve return loss greater than -65 dB when mated, compared to -55 dB for UPC connectors.
