DIY Cable Assembly Process
- Thread cable through sleeve collet nut in order, then solder cable wires to insulator one by one, noting wire order carefully
- Insert split carrier onto soldered insulator, ensuring carrier slot mates perfectly with insulator subassembly key
- Position collet on cable, ensuring collet key mates with split carrier slot
- Insert insulator subassembly, split carrier, and collet into outer shell in sequence, ensuring carrier key mates with outer shell slot
- Tighten collet nut securely
- Attach sleeve to corresponding step of collet nut
