- Place collet on cable right position, ensuring collet heave mates with split insert carrier slot
- Insert insulator subassembly, split insert carrier, and collet into outer shell in sequence, ensuring split insert carrier heave mates with outer shell slot
- Tighten collet nut securely
- Attach sleeve to corresponding step of collet nut
