Assembly Process
- Thread cable through sleeve collet nut, then solder wires to insulator one by one, paying close attention to wire order
- Install split insert carrier onto soldered insulator, ensuring carrier slot aligns perfectly with insulator subassembly
- Position collet on cable, making sure collet heave mates with split insert carrier slot
- Insert insulator subassembly, split insert carrier, and collet into outer shell in sequence, aligning carrier heave with outer shell slot
- Tighten collet nut securely
- Attach sleeve to corresponding step of collet nut
