It could be added into a wide variety of di!erent thermoplastics. Conventional loadings are 5-20% by weight of the compound and the optimum loading is depended on the resin type and the desired "nal properties of the part.
Lubricity: it could reduce the materials’ friction factor and improve the lubricity and abrasion performance of plastic when mix with them;
Fire Resistance: As PTFE has high anti-"re properties, it could increase the "re resistance of plastic when mix with them;
If mixed with elastomer, could improve elasticity, special application is sealing materials.
Drip proof: as the Ever#on F500(PTFE "ne powder) and D301X(PTFE dispersion)
has high viscosity and "brosis at melt temperature. It could improve drip proof when "ring of various plastic such as ABS,PC,PU and PS.
Brief Introduction
Everflon® PTFE Micropowders is a white, free-flowing, PTFE powder designed for use as an additive in other materials or as a dry lubricant. It can be used at temperatures from –190 °C to 250 °C (–310 °F to 480 °F), and is inert to nearly all industrial chemicals and solvents. It is a good electrical insulator, does not absorb water, and is highly resistant to weathering.
