AZ31B AZ91D ZK61M Magnesium Alloy Series
Magnesium alloys feature low density (approximately 1.8 g/cm³) combined with high strength, making them the lightest metallic structural materials available. With a density two-thirds that of aluminum and one-fourth that of steel, magnesium alloys offer exceptional specific strength, with high-strength variants comparable to titanium.
These alloys exhibit large elastic modulus and superior shock absorption capabilities, absorbing 50% more energy than aluminum alloy components under impact loads. This provides excellent seismic and noise reduction performance. Additional benefits include high thermal and electrical conductivity, non-magnetic properties, effective electromagnetic shielding, and non-toxic characteristics.
