7049-T73 is a stress corrosion crack resistant high strength aluminum alloy used for production die forgings and free forging. This alloy offers superior stress corrosion resistance comparable to 7075-T73, with 10-15% higher strength due to optimized alloy elements, processing, and heat treatment integration.
