A cylinder (cylinder) consists of four parts:

Two piston rod (ROD) consists of three parts:
1. Rod
2. Earrings
3. Bushing
A. The above components; cylinder internal piston divided into two parts, respectively, large cavity and small cavity;
B. Large cavity refers to the piston rod is fully extended, the cylinder cavity;
C. Small cavity refers to the fully extended piston rod, cylinder and rod body cavity;
D. As the viscosity of hydraulic oil is relatively high, the compression ratio is very small, when the cylinder bottom oil into the oil, the piston will be pushed out of the cylinder head oil port, the piston rod to promote or retract movement, and vice versa .
About piston rod:
High strength damage resistant piston rod provides 100,000 PSI minimum yield material in 1" through 4 1/2" diameters. Larger diameters vary between 50,000 and 75,000 PSI minimum yield material. All rods are case hardened to 50-55 RC and hard chrome plated to provide maximum wear life. Stainless steel is also available. The hard chrome plated of the piston rod according to your requirement.
