All of Hanjiu's orbital steering valves have a built in return-to-center function. This means that when the driver releases the wheel the tires will automatically return to the center position. This is a convenient feature that allows for slow rock crawling or driving at higher speeds. The amount of turns it takes to get from lock to lock will depend on what ram you combine with your orbital. We have included a chart that will tell you exactly how many turns it will take to get from lock to lock with the different orbital/ram combinations, with the recommended combinations in boldletters.

Function of the incorporated valve

1.  Inlet safety valve: Limits maximum pressure drop across the PSU to protect the steering circuit.
2.  Cylinder port shock valve: Protects hoses against pressure surge created by ground forces on the cylinder axle.
3.  Anti- cavitation valve: Protects steering circuit against vacuum (cavitation) conditions.
4.  Inlet check valve: Prevents oil from returning through the PSU when pressure on the cylinder side is greater than the inlet side. It prevents steering wheel kick.
5.  Internal check valve: Converts the PSU to a hand operated pump for limited manual steering.
