The hydraulic motor is an actuator of the hydraulic system that converts the liquid pressure energy provided by the hydraulic pump into the mechanical energy (torque and speed) of its output shaft. Liquid is the medium that transmits force and motion. Hydraulic motors are mainly used in injection molding machinery, ships, hoists, construction machinery, construction machinery, coal mining machinery, mining machinery, metallurgical machinery, marine machinery, petrochemical, port machinery, etc.
 

Hydraulic motors are classified according to their type of construction and can be classified into gear type, vane type, plunger type and other types. Their main features are high speed, low moment of inertia, easy start and brake, and high sensitivity for adjustment (speed regulation and commutation). Usually high-speed hydraulic motor output torque is not large, so it is also called high-speed small torque hydraulic motor.
