| Carbon Steel | 0.5 – 10 | 12 – 14 | Oxygen-assisted cutting. Excellent quality up to 10mm. Cutting 12-14mm is slow with noticeable taper and rough edges. Not suitable for production at maximum thickness. |
| Stainless Steel | 0.5 – 6 | 8 – 10 | Requires high-purity nitrogen. Good quality up to 6mm. 8-10mm requires very high gas pressure (>16 bar), slow speeds, and results in reduced edge quality. |
