KSD301 Auto Reset Thermal Fuse / KSD302 Thermal Switch
The KSD series thermostat operates on the principle of bimetal discs that snap into action when sensing temperature changes. This snap action activates the internal contacts, ultimately controlling the circuit. Key features include fixed working temperature, reliable snap action, minimal flashover, extended lifespan, and reduced radio interference.

KSD301 Auto Reset vs Manual Reset Types
Manual Reset Type: Uses a bimetallic strip that disconnects when reaching action temperature. Requires manual reset button press (4-6N force) after temperature drops 20°C from snap action point. Minimum 20.4mm clearance needed between reset button and cover.
Auto Reset Type: Uses bimetallic strip that automatically resets when temperature drops to specified point, restarting the circuit without manual intervention.
