1.4432 is a stainless steel grade designation (EN/DIN) for an austenitic stainless steel very similar to 316L, but improved for enhanced corrosion resistance, particularly in chloride environments.

Key Element Functions

- Molybdenum (2.5–3.0%): Significantly enhances resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride-containing environments.
