Crawler tracks are categorized into two structural types:

• Metal Pin Hinge Type: Simple construction with direct dry friction between pin and pin hole, resulting in faster wear and shorter service life
• Metal Rubber Hinge Type: Advanced design with rubber collars vulcanized on metal pins, providing elastic torsion with reduced noise and extended lifespan

The metal rubber hinge type further divides into single-pin and double-pin configurations, with double-pin offering superior force distribution and convenient disassembly, making it ideal for heavy-duty applications.

• Avoid sharp turns on concrete or hard surfaces to prevent track core wear and belt twisting
• Cross ridges at right angles using low speed; use springboards for heights exceeding 10 cm
• Minimize extended operation and sharp turning on gravel roads to reduce accelerated wear
• Prevent operation on saturated fields to avoid track slippage and material accumulation
• Immediately stop and remove any stones or foreign objects lodged between track and underframe
• Thoroughly wash tracks after beach work or exposure to chemical-treated fields
