Product Overview
This digital Mooney viscosity testing machine measures the viscosity, scorching, and sulfur index of raw rubber and blended rubber compounds. Featuring microcomputer control, data display, and automatic calibration, it is an ideal experimental instrument for rubber industry applications and scientific research facilities.
The system incorporates imported intelligent digital temperature control instrumentation for easy adjustment and setup, with a wide temperature control range. Computer control and interface boards enable comprehensive data acquisition, storage, processing, and printing of test results and curves.
Mooney Viscometer Testing Principle
This instrument measures the Mooney viscosity of substances, primarily elastomers and rubbers. The testing process involves a rotating spindle and heated dies, where the test substance encloses and overflows the spindle. Mooney viscosity is calculated from the torque exerted on the spindle during rotation.
