The GB19083-2010 Medical Mask Synthetic Blood Penetration Tester is designed for evaluating the spatter penetration performance of medical masks against synthetic blood. This instrument serves medical inspection departments, safety inspection agencies, and scientific research units.
Testing Principle
The medical mask sample is mounted on the test device, and 2 mL of synthetic blood is horizontally sprayed from a cannula with an inner diameter of 0.84 mm at a distance of 300 mm. This simulates scenarios where masks are exposed to blood spray from perforated blood vessels. The penetration of synthetic blood on the opposite side of the mask is observed and recorded. Testing is conducted at liquid ejection speeds of 450 cm/s, 550 cm/s, and 635 cm/s, with results documented for each speed.
