Testing Principle
This instrument uses a cylinder that rotates at a uniform speed, allowing polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) tape to wrap around its perimeter. The edge withstands a force of 1.35Lbs in the middle of the tape width during testing. When maintaining uniform force on the test edge, the shaft makes a complete rotation. The cylinder diameter is 9.53mm.
