ASTM G154 UV Lamp Environment Test Machine Program Controllable
This machine promotes the deterioration of vulcanite and calculates the change rate of tensile strength and elongation. It simulates sun and heat effects using ultraviolet radiation, allowing observation of sample resistance to yellowing and discoloration. The equipment features a UV lamp (300W) for accelerated testing and can function as both an aging test machine and oven, offering multi-functional capabilities. A forced hot air circulation control system ensures uniform temperature distribution.
Working Principle
The internal mixer operates with two rotors rotating relative to each other, feeding materials into the roll gap where they undergo squeezing and shearing. Materials cycle around the rotor, experiencing shear and friction that raises temperature, reduces viscosity, and enhances wettability. Compounding agents are sheared and broken through gaps, while rotor convex edges provide axial movement for thorough mixing. This process ensures even dispersion of compounding agents in the rubber material.
