Specifications:

The Cable Slicing Skewing Machine is used to reduce the thickness of XLPe sheet to prepare final sample

sheet of upto 0.8 mm thickness for testing.

The Cable Slicing Skewing Machine consists of two parallel rollers with positive drive and a blade in the

front so that the sample passes through the rollers and is sliced by the blade. The distance between the

roller and the blade can be manually adjusted such that the total thickness of the sample can be adjusted.

 

The Instrument consists of the following:

 

1. Two parallel rollers with positive drive

2. One fixed blade

3. Motor to drive the rollers

4. Provision to adjust distance between rollers and blade.
