This stain abrasion resistant tester utilizes white cotton (dry or wet) rolled on the surface of an abrasive hammer. After a specified number of rubbing actions on colored specimens, it assesses dyeing fastness by comparison with gray standards. The machine can also test friction resistance to organic solvents.
