The YT1227 SL235 Geosynthetic Gradient Ratio Tester is designed for filter layer testing of geosynthetic materials. Developed and manufactured according to JTG E50, SL235 and other standards, this equipment measures the permeability coefficient and gradient ratio of soil and geotextile systems and their interfaces under controlled water flow conditions. It also determines the mud content of geotextiles to identify unacceptable clogging when used as filter layers with specific soils. The fouling test penetration fixture features alloy materials on both sides with organic material in the middle, providing excellent sealing performance and convenient, fast sample loading and unloading.
