What is Juvederm?

Juvederm is a family of injectable hyaluronic acid dermal fillers used to provide correction for moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (lines from the nose to the corners of the mouth). It is also used for lip augmentation.

Juvederm products are a smooth consistency gel, compared to some hyaluronic gel products that have a granular consistency. Juvederm products are developed using the Hylacross technology to allow a smoother, malleable gel. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar found in the body. Hyaluronic acid works by holding in water at the injection site and acting as a cushioning agent. It adds temporary volume and a smoother appearance to skin. Most patients need more than one treatment to achieve optimal results.

Type:

1. Ultra 3:

  Scope of application: nasolabial lines, crow's feet, eyebrow lines, apple muscles, forehead, lip enhancement, marionette lines, etc. For moderate to deep wrinkles (such as moderate and severe nasolabial folds, sagging facial wrinkles (cheeks, cheekbones, chin), corner wrinkles, fine cheek lines, sunken temples, nose, modification of hump nose, nose tip shaping), Middle injection.

2. Ultra 4:

  Scope of application: apple muscle, forehead lines, nose, nasolabial lines. For deep wrinkles (such as deep and very deep skin folds, severe nasolabial folds, drooping corners of the mouth, rejuvenating hands, and tightening of hand skin), deep dermal injections.

3. Voluma:

  It fills the severely sunken areas on the face such as temples, nose, chin, cheeks, and reshapes the face. It contains 0.3% lidocaine (a local anesthetic) to relieve pain during injection.
