Drip irrigation tape is a flat, thin-walled hose containing pre-spaced dripper emitters, that expands when filled with water. The flat drip emitters are welded into to the tape at certain space as per growing plans needs.

There are mainly three different models for those drip tape machines, KDPD-I (speed 80m/min), KDPE-II (speed 180m/min) and KDPD-III (speed 250m/min). They are different in production speed and produced drip tape thickness, and what kind of drippers you are using.
Speed 80m/min model is used to produce PC type flat emitter, with tape thickness range 0.6mm-1mm.

DRIP IRRIGATION TAPE MACHINE DETAIL INTRODUCTION -- 80m/min speed model
1. Dripper sorting & inserting machine
- Dripper identifying speed is more than 1100pcs/min, to ensure dripper supply
- Dripper inserting is driven by servo motor, and sync controlled with PLC system
- sorting device is special made as per pc type flat dripper design
- Auto feeder with dripper lack alarm
2. Extruder & Cross Die Head
- Extruder driven by AC motor; with ABB converter, Schneider electric elements
- SIEMENS PLC control system, to sync control with dripper inserting speed and haul-off speed
- Special designed cross type die head; high quality mould steel 40Cr, which is processed by imported CNC machinery.
3. Vacuum tank & Cooling tank
- made by high quality SS304; high quality vacuum pump & water pump
- special design calibrator for drip tape making
- air bubble detecting and alarm system; tape break down stop function; tape anti-rotation system etc
4. Perforating Machine & Tractor
- driven by servo motor and servo controller, with high precision punching degree
- Auto tracking dripper positon, and with image system to check punching hole condition
- Dripper hole punching with camera system to inspect punching condition
5. Winding Machine
- servo type traversing device, driven by SIEMENS servo motor
- with tension control device to auto adjust winding speed
- separate SIEMENS PLC control system
- Coil length free setting;
- Auto stop protection function while sensor pipe end
- Laser printing coil size inforamtion, for operation convenience
