5 Layer PEX EVOH Oxygen Barrier Pipe Production Line

Below pipe extrusion machine is used to produce 5 layer PEX pipes with EVOH oxygen barrier layer in the middle. Comparred with 3 layer structure, five layer design ensure that EVOH oxygen barrier is protected and remains intact, safeguarding your radiant heating system.

Because of cross-linking feature of PEXb material, the technology of 5 layer co-extrusion of PEXB/EVOH is little complex and hard to extrude.  KAIDE company has successfully developed this PEXb/EVOH pipe making, based on its years practical expereice on EVOH pipe making and PEXb pipe making.

EVOH PIPE MACHINE DETAIL INTRODUCTION 

Extruders

• 5 extruders are used for each layer extrusion, and screw special designed as per PEXb material cross-linking features.
• ABB inverter; Schneider electric elements
• SIEMENS PLC control system, to sync control with dripper inserting speed and haul-off speed

Co-extrusion Die Head

• Special designed 5 layer co-extrusion die head, to extrude each layer evenly and compond firmly;
• die head is made of high quality mould steel 40Cr, which is processed by imported CNC machinery.

Vacuum tank & Cooling tank

• made by high quality SS304; high quality vacuum pump & water pump
• special design calibrator for EVOH pipe making

Winding Machine

• servo type traversing device, driven by SIEMENS servo motor
• with tension control device to auto adjust winding speed
• separate SIEMENS PLC control system
• Coil length free setting; 
• Auto stop protection function while sensor pipe end
